Minimal use of electric
"It's fantastic, use it for making stews mainly, 10mins on stove to bring to boil then 2.5hrs in bag to cook can't overcook nothing to do except eat it. Cuts out all electricity after initial boil. Have to use double handle pot as long handles don't fit, the ones with thick bottoms best"

I haven’t used my electric slow cooker since I got this!
"It was a bit expensive for what it is but, I liked the idea of some one in Africa getting a free wonderbag on me. It cooks wonderfully and cheaply - particularly good for rice, casseroles and curries. And reduces the cost of cooking - what’s not to like? Everyone should get one - with the cost of electric as high as it is in the UK."

It keeps food hot
"As I read the reviews that the large was big, I picked the smaller one. I have used it today for a curry , I’m a vegetarian so no meat to not cook properly. I cooked the food then put it into the bag and 2.hrs 30 minutes it was still pipping hot. Very happy, will try and leave it for longer tomorrow. I was using a cast iron dish so that keeps heat."

"Really excellent product. I've used it a couple of times now. It seems to work better with pans that can retain thermal mass, so although I've got a big cast iron camping dutch oven, I've just ordered an enamelled, cast iron kitchen dutch oven (birthday present), but any well filled heavy pot will work best."

Brilliant idea
"My partner wanted to buy a slow cooker, but I’ve had them before and I think they negatively affect the flavour of the food. So, because of the price of gas and electricity, and because I like slow cooked food, I bought a Wonderbag. The men in my house thought I had bought another dog bed when I first unpacked it, and then were doubtful as to the claims! But it really works! I have found that a cast iron pot, as small as you need, works best (not so good if there’s lots of empty space inside the pot!) Cook for at least ten minutes, so that the pot is really hot before putting inside the Wonderbag. I stand the pot on a cork mat for extra insulation, close the bag then go away and do whatever I need to do, without fear that the pot will boil dry and burn! What’s not to love?"

Brilliant slow cooker! Great way to save energy
"I didn't buy mine from Amazon (direct from seller) but I have been using mine for years! Works great to soak/soften dried chickpeas and beans. I love making curries and stews in it, really brings out the flavour, and no standing over the pot for hours, instead just cook the meat, brown the onions, heat to boiling and forget about it for 5hrs, then enjoy a lovely tasty meal. I also use mine when camping as a cool box, no energy and works so much better than a plastic box or cool bag. Keeps yoghurt and cheese fine for days 👍"

Fantastic service, brilliant product
"This is excellent. The company has a very good ethos, great customer service and the product is just brilliant. So far I’ve cooked salmon in coconut peanut broth, bean soup and tomato sauce. Just a quick bit of cooking on hob, then into the bag it goes. It sits happily, cooking away. The flavours meld really nicely and I can just leave it be - can head out for a walk, go upstairs to work and not worry about the safety - no gas, which saves on the bills, too! I’ve heard you can cook chickpeas and also make yogurt, so they’re next on the list. Highly recommend. And the patterns are lovely!"

I Love Our Wonderbag!
"I couldn't wait to use our Wonderbag and it was amazing. The quality is so good. Take time to fluff out the filling within the bag and don't forget to pop something in the base before you pop your pot in there. I must admit I didn't want to leave it for longer than 3 hours before we had our dinner as I was worried it wouldn't be hot but I need not have worried it was piping hot...next time I will happily leave it up to the 8 hours the company say you can. I really recommend this brilliant Wonderbag, I'm so glad that we invested in one! Thank you to the creators."
